Hahah, Sue, my thought exactly as I was passing. A bit later I saw a blindfolded woman being led to the beach by a friend, to where some people were waiting. Was the armchair ready for a bride-to-be??
Haha, quite, Jo. There were some people around but even without them I don’t think I’d be sitting down. Later I saw a blindfolded woman being led to the beach. Was it waiting for her, I wonder.
Haha, Frank, I can see why. It was the first such sight for me. I wondered for a minute if this was some sort of popular Instagram thing. Who can tell. Thanks!
Thank you, Dan. I was led by a pulling bestia who I didn’t wish to let run freely as there were quite a lot of people around, or I’d linger and take more photos.
I am in there, sitting and playing my toes on the powdery sand…nah, I don´t need yet a book, I just wanted to feel this peace.I missed the beach…so much!
I’m so glad for all the variety in responses. I had to wrangle my dog, who was pulling, and other people, who were maskless, and just wasn’t in a contemplative mood when I saw this. So I just clicked. Could be creepy too, it depends on the narrative you tell yourself. Thanks for your visit, Lexi.
We have signs at our beaches that say: “Leave only your footprints.” I wonder what the powers that be would say about this!?

Haha, quite, Lois. I must say that this was the first. This beach is far from a hip instagrammable spot. And I don’t think the sea brought this.

What an unexpected and yet, inviting scene.

Thank you, Irene. I was quite surprised. The only things I see on this beach out of season is what the sea brings along, mostly trash and wood.

This reminds me of a similar photo I took of a chair on a pole placed just past the waterline. I assume so folks could sit and fish…. funny

Hahha, funny indeed, Amanda. Well, I don’t think this one was for the fishermen. It seems as if the King of Seas were coming on a visit.
