After a long time I thought to see which my last photo taken last month might have been.

Bushboy’s rules are simple:
- Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th April.
- No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
- You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
- Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
- Tag “The Last Photo”
I have only one – point-and-shoot – camera, and I don’t take photos with my phone because when I do (only to show somebody something immediately) I always hate the results.
I haven’t had a look at the last photo in a month for quite some time but this time I did it and I like it. Have a happy Sunday.

Weed or herb?

Hm… Isn’t it lavanda? 😮 It’s not ours…

I love the peeking through the fence to get a photo. I thought it may have been sage but lavender works as well. Thanks for remembering to join in Manja 🙂 🙂

Most welcome, Bushboy. This is such a great idea for a challenge. And lavender is just my guess! I thought sage at first too. I am the last to ask though: once the man-called-chef on a sailboat in Croatia sent me to pick some rosemary for dinner and when I brought lavender he said he got divorced for things like that. 😀

😀 😀 Just have to pick a leaf, crush it and smell to know what it is it

Hihih, I know! And I know both smells very well. But I was in a hurry and the damn plants looked similar.

You keep introducing me to new challenges! I might have to check this one out. The flower reminds me of a native one here called Purple Rain, but the leaves are not the same. Pretty nonetheless.

How great is that, Maggie? Thank you, I’m so glad that you’re taking part. I never knew that Purple Rain was a flower? 😮 Was it already called that when Prince had a song? Or is called after him?

I don’t know about the origins of “purple rain,” but it’s also known as lilac sage, whorled sage, whorled clary and it’s real name, salvia verticillata. I imagine if Prince did a song called salvia verticillata, it would still be a hit.

A lovely idea. Is that Salvia?

Thank you, scooj. If you wish to take part, it’s easy. Well, some people say they thought it was salvia (=sage). To me the flowers seem very much like lavender. But that doesn’t mean a thing since I’m really not good measure. 😀
