Day Nine: Nothing to like here

Well, the pigeons are cute. But don’t read. They are waiting.

Prompt 9: “Our (optional) prompt for the day is to write a poem in the form of a ‘to-do list.’ The fun of this prompt is to make it the ‘to-do list’ of an unusual person or character.”

This will be very short:

- Start the virus
- lock them up in human reserves
- kill sex drive
- reduce sperm count
- wait.

Signed: Planet

  1. Are the pigeons waiting for us to succumb? These two might have to wait awhile… But hey, I wouldn’t mind a planet populated entirely by pigeons, if that meant no war, no illness, no poverty, abundant trees, incessant amorous cooing, and gazillions of squabs and fledglings! (Tons of bird shit, most likely, but you can’t have everything.)

    1. I can’t get out of the funk today. 😦 I watched the documentary Seaspiracy which didn’t help, on the contrary. These two have taken over this house and whenever I pass they give me these airs… Thanks, Romana, for being here.

  2. Sorry about the funk. I’m steeling myself for this documentary. It’s tough once you start reading any kind of news. You’re lucky to have these two watching over you! I’d take them, airs and all.🥰 Thanks for being here too. Hugs, me
