Blur, blur, nothing

I never reblog my posts but this one was a bit of a premonition. I asked for nothing and we got a year of it.

I came across it by there-is-no-such-thing-as-coincidence: The Nothing Manifesto in which George Tsakraklides beautifully rounds up the state of our lives and this world, and proposes the International Nothing Day. And I propose that you go there and read it in full. And clap.

After that, as if by (non)chance, I kept bumping into quotes and cartoons about nothing, which I can now add into this post.

  1. Thank you for the nothing, Manja. It was a hard year with multiple opportunities for reflection and changed perspective. In my own life, I always find that growth toward something better is what happens after a period of pain. So the year 2020 was a gift, in that sense.
