Double the trouble, double the fun. Here are some inanimate but mostly animate entities that have more fun and mischief in pairs.

“I opened two gifts this morning. They were my eyes.”
unknown author, quote reblogged from Nes Felicio Photography
I opened my eyes and then the trouble started when I started seeing double.
Have fun as we all did in these photos gathered here, since Tina asks us to see double for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge this week.
And when you reach the last photo, don’t forget to click on it and see the photos again without the commentary in a colourful gallery (if you’re on a big screen). It’s worth it.

Let’s start around here. These two are not in trouble because I don’t take what’s not mine. Even though…
I’d take these two gladly (no matter how you need a permit for picking mushrooms in Tuscany) but chances are high they are not the yum porcini mushrooms I know from home.
These two graze by the beach, surrounded by many of their kind, and they seem genuinely happy.
Back to back.
His and her ways to enter the waves. The new beach Cala del Gesso.
Girls from Trieste, as this monument is called. It depicts two seamstresses. Many went overseas to sew.
Two sisters at the top of the world. Well, Ljubljana.
With the winner of this year’s garden card tournament. Photo: a kind card player.
With my long almost lost friend at the Vinarium tower in Lendava. Photo: amore.
She again with a friend on my turf, at the Terme di Saturnia. The bag on the left is saying something about yucking the comfort zone. Not ‘y’, you say?
Bruno and Sergio, double trouble for sure. Rome shutters.
Taken the moment after I’d told him that he looked exactly like their Joy.
I love this photo!! Another almost lost friend on the visit to Pitigliano taking care of our bestia.
They still wait to be reunited: bestia and amore’s father’s new cat. By now she has grown at least fivefold, I presume.
Better this way to avert trouble. Keep one of them wooden.
The statue “The Choice/The Lovers” in Il Giardino dei tarocchi, by Niki de Saint Phalle. The trouble lurks behind.
Double Canadian mischief in Capalbio. Door inspection was called for.
Look at these two. As if their 50th wedding anniversary weren’t just behind the corner. In Lokev, Slovenia.
No trouble for us either even though we don’t know how many years we have because we don’t know where to start counting. In Massa Marittima at 42 degrees C this summer.
Why we were in town in such heat? We came to this exhibition. Donna Stiles painted me after a photo when I was 17. Talking about double trouble. Photo: amore.
For Lens-Artists Photo Challenge, hosted by Tina of travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com: Seeing double
You have a lot of great doubles in this collection. I had to stop and take a good hard look at your almost long lost friend. She looks a lot, A LOT like my sister in law! I am asking He-Man if he thinks she looks like his sister too.

Hehe, really, Deborah? I have two almost long lost friends, do you mean the one with me on the tower or the one giving water to the dog? In any case, sounds cool! And thanks!

Really! I wish I could send you a photo of s-i-l so you can see. To my eye the likeness is uncanny!
The lady wearing the green t-shirt saying something about Casino….something? She’s holding a camera.

Oh yes! It’s a Camino shirt. 🙂 She is more than half way done with walking the famous Camino trail!

That would be the best post: only one photo of all the many things that you own times two (strollers, high chairs, you name it) and this one sentence. :p

Oh the joy of meeting long lost friends! A lovely and fun gallery from you again, Manja. And there is still the seventeen year old in you ♥ Do you have a copy of the painting?

Thank you so much, Amy. Yes, this is what I aim at, I think. 🙂 To show photos with stories. Or to tell stories with photos.

You saved the best for last ! That’s a lovely portrait of you. She captured your essence so much so that we can still see it in your current photo.
