A fast post today, as fast as we walked along the bridge to Civita di Bagnoregio with my American friends in June 2017. Liz from Fetching the World is coming back in December. Hurrah!

Heat is coming. Walking

as everything else.

It does look hot. I can relate. Rebel the Schnauzer often gets cracked pads on her paws in summer from the hot ashfeldt. I have seen some dogs wear boots for this purpose. Have you seen them? Here is an example https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=boots+for+dogs+summer#kpvalbx=_G_GsXZ2rAoqe9QOHrrDACg40

Ahh, these look super cute. Thanks, Amanda. Ashfeldt is a new word for me, hihi.

It does look steep, but worth the effort…I think

Thank you, Dan. It was hot. The bridge is in the sun all the time and the floor absorbs the heat. I was suffering together with bestia. I had thin shoes, he didn’t have any.

Thank you, Lola. Absolutely worth it. The climb I could manage, the heat barely.

Looks long and hard but so worth doing, I hope. 😊

That is quite the hike – with no shade and in the baking heat!! I would not have been a happy tourist! … but the views! Thanks for doing this on our behalf 🙂

Hehe, you’re most welcome, Joanne. For us with shoes on it wasn’t too bad.

I would also want a large umbrella to give me some much needed shade!

Indeed, Jan, but we survived. I had two California girls with me and one Eastcoaster. 🙂 We were well-balanced.

Actually I spelt it wrong. It is asphalt.

I knew this is what you meant. I supposed your phone played another trick. 🙂

This time it was my spelling memory. I can’t even blame the phone.

Not sure I could have managed a climb like that, especially without some shade but I’m sure it was worth it 🙂

Oh yes, it was. One can take it easy and walk as slowly as you wish, but not if you’re with the dog who couldn’t stand still even for a second. We had a great time there and even though the place is more or less empty, we found a lovely restaurant and as a desert had a picnic with amore’s tiramisu that we brought along. 😀 I suppose you could bring a nice sun umbrella and take it easy.

I wish I’d have to go here. The Great Wall of Italy. Beautiful.
