Wordless Wednesday 16/6/21

This day in my blogging history

  • 2014: Three favourite Joan Baez songs and hitchhiking memories: “If we were flying, the car was tight on the inside and the driver was complaining all the time of rough times but then bought us dinner and cigarettes, the car was Yugo and the driver was from Kosovo.” (Read all.)
  • 2015: Artists are people driven by the tension between the desire to communicate and the desire to hide. ~Donald Woods Winnicott
  • 2019: A musing on art with a compilation of “arty” shots and a poem:

    What is art
    but being
    who you are
    standing
    where you are
    doing
    what you do
    and shouting:
    Is there anybody out there?

    1. Thank you, Claudia. I was lucky that on this day in the past I posted things that go together this well. I’ve been doing this for a month now, this daily look back through my eight years of blogging, and it’s been quite satisfying.

  1. STUNNING photos. I love the poetic perspective of the first one, just gorgeous! And something so feminine about the squished tomatoes at the end echoing the red of the nail polish on the toes. Great arty quotes and arty poem 🙂
