Today just two dragon photos hinting of things to come.
I’ve been promising dragons – to Crystal, to Bojana a long time ago – and I’ve got them gathered right here but no time yet to organise and post them all. They will come in the coming week, I promise, today just two hints. (ADD-IT: They have and are here.) The first is topical.

Tonight not only the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will get its winner, but there are also three Slovenians in action in the playoffs of the best basketball league in the world, or so they say. The photo above hints at one of them. In case you can’t see what it says on the board in English:
“Dragons have always lived in Ljubljana. The last one was born on 6 May 1986. He spent his youth in the neighbourhood of Koseze. Those were the days!”
It also says that there is a new permanent exhibition in the city. This photo is three years old but I do hope it’s still there and that it has to do with dragons, since Crystal will most likely be in the city in September and I wish to take her. This is how she describes my online surprise birthday party last year on her blog here.
As for the dragon from Koseze, his name is Goran Dragić, nicknamed The Dragon, and tonight – already at 8 pm which is great news since usually the NBA games are in the middle of the night for us in Europe – he and his team Miami Heat will play the first game against Giannis and Milwaukee Bucks.
Not only that, good news continues. Immediately after that, at 10.30, the second Slovenian will take to the stage. He might not be a dragon as such but he is Luka Dončić, which might be even more lethal. Looking forward to see how he and his Dallas Mavericks start the playoffs against last year’s rivals L. A. Clippers. No love lost, I’d say.
Only the third Slovenian, Vlatko Čančar, and his Denver Nuggets play Portland Trail Blazers at 4 am or some such and they will have to win without my support.

And this is another dragon as we passed it on a boat on amore’s first summer visit to Ljubljana in 2013 with his daughters. I post it as a good luck charm for his favourites Måneskin representing Italy at the Eurovision tonight. Forza, Italia!
And a special thought to Iceland: First their representatives counted as favourites last year but then the event got cancelled. This year they will not be allowed to sing live tonight (another song) since one of the group has been found positive. Their rehearsal performance will be showed instead, and I really like it.
This day in my blogging history

Love the dragon boat with Amore, Manja. Happy weekend! 🤗💕

Thank you, Jo! It really was! I hope yours too. I had cake yesterday after my tour of three properties and thought of you. (No pictures again. I’m too fast.) 😀 And I even called Italy’s victory!!

Oh yes, Trix, there is the Dragon bridge with four big dragons on each corner. I’ll post photos of them a little later today. Thank you!

Go, go, go! 🙂 Will cheer for them too (as long as they don’t face any Slovenians). 😉

Oh my friend, what a lovely post and gift to me and to Bojana. It is exciting to me that you are daring to hope that the trip may work out in September. The closer we get, the more it seems like it could actually happen. I just love that pic of the dragon boat and your Amore. It’s a good shot of him. Thanks for explaining the other dragon, ha ha. I never would have figured it out. 🙂 I know you are tired and it sounds like a happy tired, because you were buoyant despite fatigue in your message. Hugs to you and another Happy Birthday. ❤

This is just the beginning of the gift, Crystal. The rest of the dragons will come a bit later today. Yes, I was really happy yesterday but really tired too and then also REALLY angry because I had an online card tournament and came 206th. COME ON!!!! I just didn’t get any good cards and it’s something no amount of skills can compensate for. Anyways… ohhhmmmm, zen, and the like. 😉 Thank youuuuu!! (And yes – if you see it in your mind’s eye, you’re half way there… Or better, half way over here.)

Tara and I raise our fists to the sky and yell, “Curse you Aquascum!!” when we are angry. It’s a line from Finding Nemo, heh heh.

Hihh, I shall bear this in mind. Not angry any more, just… defeated. Also – I had a dream with you tonight. You were in my grandma’s kitchen with an intruder and I sneaked in from the bedroom with a gun (!!! never even seen one in person) to protect you and I pointed it into him and grinned ear to ear. But then he told us that he was infected and now we were too. 😦 Damn!

That’s an awful anxiety dream, but I’m glad you dream of yourself protecting friends and family. I’m definitely keeping you around for safety purposes. 🙂

In the dream I felt vindictive and glad to serve, not really anxious. Too much cop dramas. 😀 I remember handling the gun as I’ve seen in the movies, handling the safety and all that. Anyway, I was glad to see you in Slovenia. It’s a start… 😉
