This is not my first Pitigliano door post, of course, but the first from the first post-quarantine day trip with my best Italian friend Flavia.

I was especially glad to be there with her since she had never been before.
I was even more glad when we found the most brilliant place to have lunch: pizzeria Il Noce with magnificent flowers and view and affordable prices. I showed you two photos from the place in my previous post, today some of the doors from there and around.
And the next day my sister and friend took me to Slovenia where I’m still at.
I’m just sorry that I didn’t know of this restaurant when Norm was here. A good reason to return.

The wow effect from the bella vista.
Pitigliano is vertical.
Under there is Il Noce, or The Walnut.
I took time to capture as many doors as I could before entering the restaurant.
Wide and proud.
Doors showed me the way.
The entrance looked promising.
Perfetto!
After months at home this was a proper oasis.
Oasis with a door.
A wavy mirror in the bathroom and the sign-of-the-times attire.
Leaving here. We will be back.
The tour will continue on a coming Thursday. So many doors.
Norm may remember this one.
My dear, I have been very happy to be there with you. Our getaways are always funny and the paapardella al cinghiale were just great

C’mon vaccine! I have places to go back to! 😀
It looks like a perfect setting for a long relaxing time spent enjoying a good meal, good company, and terrific scenery.
Seriously, if ever we can…we’re going back to Pitigliano!

These are wonderful doors, Manja. I think I like the ones at the end the best, but it’s a hard choice.

That patio garden! I’d die for those urns. Sigh.

Thanks, Charlotte. These urns were in a restaurant, the prettiest I have ever eaten in, and not expensive at all. I hope you’re doing well.
