Thursday Doors, 28/11/19: 50 years of parents

Today I’m especially happy that it’s Thursday because I can make a little showcase of my parents presenting doors from here and there, since today they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Next, a little poetry – a pantoum, to be precise – that was born on the road from Italy to Slovenia.

born from, by, of and luckily near you,

  1. Wow, 50 years and they still look pretty young and healthy. Those photos of doors are beautiful but what Is more amazing is how you give tribute to these two important people in your life.

  7. Chestnut festival, how I love this.

    I wish them many many more years together, in health and happiness. They are adorable, and, speaking of Thursdays, if you were from the English speaking world, you would be thankful for may things today. Most importantly, such loving and supportive family.

  9. Happy anniversary to Mom and Dad – They sure must be doing something right. I can’t pick a favourite from this batch; they look great in all of these shots. Plus they look way too young to have been together half a century 😉

      1. Wow, thanks for the invite Mom. We’ll have lots of ground to cover if and when we go back to your part of the world.
        From everything you’ve mentioned about them they really seem like fun easygoing people – I’m sure we’d have a blast together 😀
