Pic and a Word Challenge #202: No other than mother

Her shirt above is asking “What are you aiming at?” Only that everyone should get to know her. Really.

  • In Slovenian Tuscany, Goriška Brda.
  • In Capalbio practising a new sport, doorspotting.
  • The sleeve says “Slovenian Army”. The only army shirt I’ve ever liked.
  • In Montorsaio, Tuscany.
  • In Pienza she found the Road of Fortune.
  • In Giardino dei Tarocchi, mimicking the Oracle…
  • …and seeing right through the Devil.
There is only one mother
  
Mother sends son to fetch two beers.
Beer is masculine in Slovenian,
except in the region of my father.
There it becomes female.
Son sees that there is only one and yells back:
"Samo ena je, mama!"
There is only one, mother.
This is a running joke in my family.
Another is,
"Nobody is counting but have the third."
And finally, what I always like to point out
is how lucky I was
to be born near my mother.
